2022 The State of Cybersecurity Report

An In-house Perspective

Cybersecurity touches every aspect of consumer and corporate culture today. Preventing, preparing for and responding to data breaches in real time is a chief concern for individuals, corporate leaders and government regulators.

The ACC Foundation is pleased to present the 2022 State of Cybersecurity Report, An In-House Perspective. Building on the results of the 2015 and 2018 editions of this survey, this report sheds light on the growing role that legal departments are playing in organization-wide cybersecurity policies and practices.

The data included in the report represents 265 companies in 17 industries and 24 countries around the world, providing a comprehensive understanding of how legal departments in organizations of different sizes engage in cybersecurity matters. The respondents' diversity allows us to learn lessons that can be applied on a global scale to face a threat that is also global in nature.
