Diversity & Pro Bono

diversity and pro bono

ACC Foundation supports various national diverse bar associations to further  promote  diversity and inclusion initiatives in the corporate legal profession. The ACC Foundation also looks to engage diverse counsel from corporate legal departments, law firms and legal service providers, by encouraging participation and sponsorship at the educational conferences and annual meetings of diverse legal bars. In addition to this support, we actively seek diverse counsel to participate in our own educational training and presentations, as well as opportunities for subject-matter experts to serve as faculty for ACC and/or ACC Foundation programs.

ACC Foundation encourages pro bono activities that lend legal support to the members of local communities.

We support the following organizations:

The ACC Foundation is excited to launch the new PBJ (Pro Bono Jumpstart) Fund, a grant program for ACC chapters and networks to provide funding specifically for pro bono and diversity activities that engage in-house counsel participants.

All active ACC chapters and networks are eligible to submit a grant proposal for up to $10,000 for in-person programs and/or initiatives that engage in-house counsel while providing pro bono (legal) services.

ACC Foundation will accept proposals through February 28, 2020.  Awards will be announced by April 30, 2020.
